A video of a man claiming to be the Richest Zimbabweans in Australia has gone viral on YouTube.



The 1:54 minutes long video has been criticized by the Zimbabwean community on the internet, some people are saying the man might not be Zimbabwean at all.

"I doubt if this guy is Zimbabwean at all. If he really is, then what a disgrace to the Zimbabwean Community in Diaspora and at home. Zimbabweans are the most subtle people I know. We are more reserved and very acceptable of other African people. Many people want to be just like us, so I wont be surprised if this guy is not Zim at all but someone trying to tarnish our image. Shame on you whoever is in the video. Leave us Zimbabweans alone," commented Auntie Jenny a YouTube user.

Another Zimbabwean YouTube user, Takudza, based in Australia commented: "I don't know which country you are talking about but that's not how it is in Australia. I am a Zimbabwean in Australia and i am in no ways rich but i make a descent living and can afford nice things. This persons attitude is by no means representative of Zimbabweans here. Your average Zimbo here makes about A$60 000+ a year and a lot of us are doing well. This is mostly due to the fact that Australia is very selective about who gets to stay." diaspora
