Kaindu in a car accident this morning

There are reports that former Highlanders Head Coach, Kelvin Kaindu was this morning involved in a car accident in Zvishavane.

Kaindu is reported to have been driving an Opel Astra and was travelling alone at the time.

According to his friend, David Simba, who confirmed the accident, Kaindu was travelling from Triangle early this morning for today's game against Chicken Inn.

The accident occurred around 5.30am about 30km out of Zvishavane.

Simba said it was suspected the car rolled twice.

"Villagers came to help, before the team's (Triangle) secretary general, Abraham Chinemaringa, who was travelling behind him, arrived at the scene," he said.

A report was made at Mandamabwe police station.

Kaindu is due to be taken to Galen House for an examination.

He was on his way to Bulawayo.

Kaindu escaped unhurt though the car was badly damaged.
