The Zimbabwe Warriors started their 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign on a disastrous note when they went down 1-nil to Guinea in their opening qualifier match played at the National Sports Stadium this Sunday afternoon.
The home defeat became once again a script to a tale called 'the agony of a Warriors supporter.'
Not even their tough talking before the match could inspire the Warriors who missed chance after chance.
But football's ruthlessness showed it doesn't compensate near chances as Guinea capitalised on one moment to grab the all important goal that will position them well going into group G's next weekend fixtures thanks to an Ibrahim Traore dead ball goal.
Head coach, Rahman Gumbo was left puzzled at his squad's chances missing galore, opting to say it was not his team's day.
But for Gumbo's opposite, Duss'uyer, it was mission accomplished.
Not on such a day, not at such a time - A loss was certainly a bad genesis but the ever optimistic Warriors fans will be hoping for something better than today's result in the team's next encounter. Warriors
