Ajax Hotspurs stun Zim Leopards

The Leopards fell into the snare of Hotspurs as Ajax continued with their winning ways thumping the Luveve based side 2-1 in their own "Den". Slippery Machisi went on a maze run down the left channel taking his markers on a ride. He left Machago for dead and was hacked down from behind in the box. The referee waved play on and Machisi kept his balance and the ball. The pint sized Machisi waltzed his way past a cluster of defenders and was brought down again. This time the referee felt ashamed not to award a penalty pointing to the spot.

Up stepped Captain of the day Ashleigh Santsho Ndiweni who sent his spot kick to the south as the keeper went to the north. Hotspurs continued to ask more questions but against the run of play Zim Leopards got their equalizer through a fumbled ball by Ajax number one Thabani Ndlovu.

In the second half Hotspurs went on an overdrive and could have thumped Leopards for a tennis scoreline but Thuske, Mawie and Mdu took turns to waste chances that came their way. It took the impressive Machisi to net the winner off a corner that was deflected home by a Zim Leopards defender. 2 - 1 it finished Ajax coming home unscathed for the second game away from home.
