Former ZBC presenter Eric Knight has sent MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai speedy recovery wish message saying he is one of the most politicians he respect in the country.

Knight said sometimes people are so ensconced with politics so much that they forget that they are all human.

"I just want to openly wish one of the men I will forever respect in my life, Morgan Tsvangirai a speedy recovery from Cancer of the colon he is suffering from. Sometimes when we speak about politicians we forget that before being a politicians they are people. We forget that Baba Tsvangirai or Baba Mugabe breathe, feel pain and they have blood just like you and Eric Knight," he said.

"My heart bleeds many times when I see what fellow journalists and social commentators write about such people. We forget he is someone's son, a father to some children, a husband to someone, an uncle to someone before being MDC President."

Knight said he want to commend Tsvangirai also for opting to come out in the open to announce to the world that 'Im not well and I have been diagnosed with Colon Cancer'.

"Not many have the temerity and audacity to proclaim their sickness, especially if it is a chronic disease. Muri mukono Save. Politics aside, again I wish you a quick recovery Baba and I also want to say to the Tsvangirai family, 'Just like how a car manufacturer knows how to fix any part of a car they made, God can heal any part of a human body because he made it," he said. "Get well soon Baba Edwin! I also want to congratulate for once Higher Education Minister Professor Jonathan Moyo for seeing behind politics for once to and sending a 'Get well soon' message to Tsvangirai. Where someone does well I do not hesitate to give praise Mkhaya!"

Knight said fellow Zimbabweans must join him in wishing Tsvangirai well. "Lets pray that the God almighty once again exhibit His prowess to heal and touch him and shame the devil and His cohorts. Just a get well soon message on this post would be noble. God bless Zimbabwe! God bless Africa!" he said.
