Heal Zimbabwe and organization lobbying for the human, political and civil rights I Zimbabwe has condemned the conduct of Zanu PF members during the by-elections in Chirumhanzu-Zibagwe constituency where it is alleged Zanu PF members were recording names of voters after they have casted their ballots a development which is suspected to have influenced the outcome of the election.

Wife of Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa, Auxillia won the Chirumanzu-Zibagwe by electuion garnering 16092 votes ahead of Musambasi Abigail of Transform Zimbabwe who got 456 votes and National Constitutional Assembly's MutodzaMunashe who got 79 votes and Gadzamoyo Dewah of Good People's Mov3ement who got 86 votes.

Heal Zimbabwe said in Chirumhanzu-Zibagwe's ward 13 at Blink Water polling station the turnout was low throughout the day.

"A group of 5 ZANU PF women's league members were seen sitting 500m from the polling station taking down names of the people who were coming from voting at the polling station. One of the women is identified as a Ms Fazilimandi," said Heal Zimbabwe in a statement. "Besides that the voting process was peaceful. In Chirumhanzu ward 14 at Mushayabvudzi Shopping Centre polling station, Christopher Chibaya, a ZANU PF polling agent was taking down names of people who came to vote. A Mr Chibaya is an ex-soldier."

Heal Zimbabwe indicated that in Chirumhanzu ward 24, people were voting at Athens Mine polling station and St Theresa polling station.

"The ward councillor Irene Girini, Mr Tembo and Mr Jere all well-known ZANU PF supporters were going around Athens farm compound clad in ZANU PF regalia checking who voted and who did not and in the process threatening people with unspecified action if they ever found out who voted for the independent candidates or the opposition parties i.e. the NCA, People's party and Transform Zimbabwe," said Heal Zimbabwe.

The ogarnsation said in Mt Darwin at Sosera and Chiromo Primary Schools ward 16, the voting process is going on well people are voting in peace although the turnout is very low.

"In Mt Darwin Ward 17 at Chiutsa Primary School polling station the voting process is going on well. People are voting in peace and the turnout was good especially in the morning," reads the statement.

Barnwell Seremwe of Zanu PF won the Mt Darwin West polls by 18315 votes against Transform Zimbabwe's Fungai Kennedy who got 302 votes, Matigu Reuben of NCA who got 216 votes . The seat was left vacant after former Vice President Joice Mujuru was elevated to the VP post while Chirumanzu Zibagwe was left vacant after Mnangagwa was appointed Vice president as well.

The indications by Heal Zimbabwe show that the election was not free and face despite the fact that the parties which contested against Zanu PF were weak and unpopular.

The MDC formations boycotted the elections on the grounds that the electoral reforms must be made before any credible election should be held in the country.
