Chitungwiza Resident Magistrate Kudakwashe Jarabini has died. He was 34.

Chief Magistrate Mishrod Guvamombe said Jarabini died early Thursday morning after a short illness.

He said the Judicial Service Commission has lost a hard working and committed magistrate who transformed Chitungwiza Court into a model court.

He said it is disturbing to note that Jarabini, who was on duty on Tuesday, died at the time when the organisation needed him most.

Mr Jarabini joined the Judicial Service Commission in 2006 and was sworn in as a magistrate in 2007 and was stationed at Rotten Raw court.

In 2012, he was promoted and was transferred to Chitungwiza as the resident magistrate, a position he held until the time of his death.

Jarabini is survived by his wife memory.

Mourners are gathered at Number 1790, Area D, Westgate, Harare.

Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
