The MDC-T senior member Job Sikhala has said Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta is one of the African leaders he respect because of his humble stance especial on his remarks concerning homosexual when he was asked that by the United States of America President Barak Obama.

"Uhuru Kenyatta is one of the new crops of leaders in the world," said Sikhala.

"He is in his early 50s. Cool and composed. He is one of the Presidents I respect in Africa. When he was told about Africa's penchant to oppress the minority by Obama in reference to the rights of homosexuals, he responded by telling Obama that the subject of homosexuals is not an issue in Africa."

Sikhala said it is not an issue to Africans because it doesn't exist as an issue of interest to them.

"Africans are more concerned about the economy and security of their persons in this era of emerging terrorism and despotic leadership that abducts it's own," said Sikhala.

"This is a reply expected of a President not to say heyi Obama come and lets be lovers. Kudos President Uhuru Kenyatta. What a satisfactory explanation from a true statesman."

Kenyatta told Obama that there were more pressing issues of concerns for Africa more important than the homosexual issue and would not dwell on talking about it.
