Ugandan lawmakers have reportedly passed a controversial anti-p*rnography bill that will ban women from wearing miniskirts and other clothing deemed sexually explicit.

According to The Independent, the bill which is seen as an infringement upon women's rights could see many films and TV dramas banned as well.

Some MPs, however, have complained that the bill's definition of p*rnography is too broad and that it goes against Uganda's tradition of being tolerant of cultural diversity, Daily Monitor said.
