Woman arrested for cutting off hubby's manhood

GALINE had only just started mourning the death of her husband - when she was arrested for removing his manhood!

Galine Malinga (55), said her husband, Johannes Masimini (59), collapsed after complaining of stomach pain on 22 December. An ambulance arrived and paramedics confirmed that Johannes was dead. His body was taken to the mortuary, but five days later, according to Galine, she was accused of removing her husband's private parts and hiding them in the roof!

The dead man's family returned with cops and angry community members to confront the widow.

Galine said: "They came to my house in the middle of the night and broke down the door. They put on gloves and started searching the house without asking permission. They even took a bowl of beetroot they said looked suspicious."

Galine was arrested and spent a night in the police cells.

"I feel terrible that my husband's family said I killed him. I am not a murderer – they must clear my name."

The authorities later confirmed that the man's private parts had not been removed at all!

A spokesman for the police said: "The woman was taken in for questioning and released based on what she told the cops. We are searching for the people who started the rumour."
