Alick Macheso will next week travel to South Africa for two shows with urban grooves musician Enock Nox Guni.
The musicians will perform in Johannesburg on May 29 and Pretoria on May 30. It will be Macheso's first international tour this year and the sungura musician has promised great shows.
Fans are likely to have a lifetime experience considering Macheso has not performed in that country for more than a year while South Africa-based Nox is riding high with his hit Ndinonyara.
Speaking to reporters yesterday Macheso's manager William Tsandukwa said fans in SA must look forward to memorable shows because they will sample new songs.
"The new songs are well polished, so they must look forward to great events," said Tsandukwa.
Macheso recently introduced the tora bute dance that has been well received although zorai butter is still at the hearts of many.
The band will travel with their prodigal son and lead guitarist Noel Nyazanda, who recently rejoined the group after defecting to Sulumani Chimbetu.
Tsandukwa said although they will be sampling new songs, fans had to wait a little longer before the release of the new album. Macheso Tour
