The Cool Crooners will be backed by One Plus One Jazz Band.
In an interview yesterday, the organiser of the event, Donald Mazwi Sibindi, said the day would be punctuated with pomp and fanfare.
He said Bulawayo Mayor Councillor Thaba Moyo and councillors would attend the re-launch.
"We are having the show to re-launch the bar as it was opened in 1978. We have invited the Mayor and other guests for the re-launch," said Sibindi.
He said on the day they would unveil four children from the community that they are going to pay school fees for.
"The children will be two boys and two girls that have shown potential in school, but lack funds. We will also donate to the less fortunate in the community. We do not want to make the day a money making event, but we want it to be an event that spares a thought for the less fortunate," said Sibindi.
He said he roped in Jeys and the Cool Crooners to add flavour to the day.
"We want to celebrate the day with our musical icons like Jeys and the Cool Crooners. They will give a performance of a lifetime and this will be a good day for people to enjoy themselves," said Sibindi.
He said there would be cold beer and meat galore for the celebrations.
Contacted for comment, Jeys Marabini said the show would be a chance for him to meet his fans who had been supporting his music for so long.
He said he would belt out tunes from his new album, Jeys @ 40 and from other albums.
"I have been getting positive feedback on the album and I promise that I will belt out tunes from it.
I will also have tunes from my old albums that are my fans' favourites," said Jeys.
He said he would take to the stage at 4pm and would play until late into the night.
"I will go on stage at 4pm and people should come in their numbers and support local groups as abadala, amaCool Crooners will also be on stage and you know that they always give top class performances," said Jeys.
