Man assaults Rihanna over her reunion with Chris Brown

An irate London man apparently upset over Rihanna's reunion with Chris Brown assaulted the singer Saturday night while she was in town debuting her new clothing line, River Island, for London Fashion Week.

The "Stay" singer was spotted with blood on her right knee after she was allegedly assaulted by the angry man outside The Box in England's capital city, according to reports.

An eyewitness said the man yelled disapproving remarks about her relationship with Chris Brown, 23, and threw a bottle of Lucozade, a British soft drink. The 24-year-old singer fell against a metal object during the fiasco cutting her knee.

Rihanna's bodyguard took chase after the assailant and ended up hurting his leg too, which needed medical attention. The assailant was not caught.
