Triangle FC need to reinforce its midfield

Triangle F.C dropped points last Sunday in their first ever defeat against Hwange FC in all competitions when the two sides met at Gibbo Stadium.
Triangle however,  remain on fifth position but the defeat was demoralising ahead of their trip to third placed high flying F.C Platinum this weekend.

The Lowveld side has surprisinglybeen  playing well of late after the exodus of players and change of technical team after the departure of Kelvin Kaindu to Howmine but the new gaffer David Mandigora have since made his mark with 16 points from 10 games.

The team is five points off the summit and positive results against the platinum miners will leave them within touching distance as the mid-season approaches.

Triangle were in an almost similar position last season under Kaindu but they were playing with flair as compared to a dull contest against lowly Hwange last Sunday.

The team lacks creativity in the middle of the park and that automatically reduces their attacking options and they need to make recruitments when the transfer window opens  during mid-season as some players do not make the grade to replace the likes of Pasca Manhanga, Hillary Bakacheza, Tichaona Chipunza just to mention a few.

Their strength this season has been their defence but they were badly exposed because of the poor midfield and that must be the area of concern for Mandigora and his charges.

"We played badly overally but that`s football. We just need to pick ourselves up and bounce back against F.C Platinum" said Mandigora after Sunday`s defeat.
