Mugabe honours champion Manyuchi

President Mugabe yesterday honoured World Boxing Council welterweight international champion, Charles Manyuchi, at a banquet at State House where he gave the boxer $50 000 for flying the national flag high.

President Mugabe said Manyuchi's achievements were a source of pride for the country and needed to be celebrated.

On Saturday the 18th of July 2015 Charles Manyuchi defended his title against challenger Giancula Frezza of Italy.
