Some Pentacostal churches are Satan's agents

05 Mar 2015 at 10:28hrs | Views
I grew up knowing relatives outside our family could visit each other more often. Holidays each time were exciting as I looked forward to seeing my cousins, an uncle and his family. I would enjoy some foods that I never had at our home, all in love, the love was simple pure affection.

After the school holiday I would go back home with good memories.

Fast wind to this day after the entry of Pentecostal churches, that have been mushrooming like vendors in a street, suddenly I am now told by the Pastor or Prophet so and so is hindering your progress!

It brings me to the title of my contribution, are these churches for God or the devil?

It is written in the Bible, 'love your brethren.'

I am further taught make up always with your brethren when ever there is a misunderstanding. Mind you, my kids are in church with the mother or both parents are there.

The kids are listening to 'papa', 'father' or man of God whatever you call them for they love all names that glorify them.

Is this not breaking the backbone of the family? Now can my daughter who is about to get married get advice from her aunties, who are her father's sisters, when she is told they are the ones bringing misfortunes in the family.

When marriages are breaking down at a faster rate are we to be surprised?

Stories are told of relatives who are no longer on speaking terms because their different churches have brainwashed them to the extent of becoming foes.

Only darkness would seek people to be alienated from their relatives for God is for love.

These churches have come with phenomenons previously not known in mainstream churches. They give prominence to the devil as they talk about him in their churches more than they talk about Jesus Christ, who before He was taken to the Calvary, told His disciples He was adding a new commandment of love. He had realised that the earthily family had bitterness towards one another. So, why are these churches acting contrary to Jesus Christ's teaching.

There are many causes of barrenness, there are many causes of failure to get employment and so on.

Should it all be blamed on the unfortunate relative because his or her business is doing well or their kids did not do well in school?

One is told you need deliverance when they attend these churches, deliverance from what really? Jesus Christ came to re-establish our communion with God and by His blood we were washed from these things the pastors purport to be delivering from.

Imagine being told the name you gave your child after your relative must be changed by the pastor! This is pure human doctrine not divine serving the devil's purpose. Some of the pastors instead of helping on marriages of their members actual add fire to them causing collapse.

Freely you shall receive and freely you shall give it is written. On the contrary it is now merchandise of God's gospel through bangles, oils, socks, DVDs - Lord have mercy.
If it is God's doctrine then  we shall see to the end.
