The Zimbabwe African Peoples Union   is deeply upset and shaken by the continued complacency of the Zanu government at a time most Zimbabweans are grilling with poverty, human insecurity and total uncertainity about their future.

The infamous Supreme Court judgments depict an orgy picture of a country undergoing a reign of destruction. Workers have always been irreplaceable frontline drivers of economic and social development.

We therefore demand that government immediately take concrete and lasting action to rescue workers- who are already underpaid and living under the poverty datum line- from the ruthless sacrificial alter.

They are the means to production, they are not robots though- workers are humans and bread winners whose inspiration is to see a prosperous Zimbabwe that honours their sweat.

The worker, he being  the geese that lay the golden eggs for the master, has been the most affected in this collapsed nation  through underpayment, stretching salary backlogs among other poor working conditions and safety nets.

And these judgments have simply legalized this facet of modern day slavery.

It's a phenomenal loss for workers and all the ordinary people. The elite, mainly filthy rich Zanu stalwarts can now lawfully further severe the welfare of their miserable workers in farms, mines and industries through abrupt and empty dismals.

Consequently, a reported 9000 workers has been left in the open, joining their displaced counterparts who had been vending in the streets of Harare.

Truly speaking government is superintending over its own people's perennial suffering and this is too revealing.

Zanu's  zimasset mantra is just but a farce! Or is it that before we create 2 million jobs which we should lose thousands of them?

Cdes and friends it does not need a rocket scientist to see that we are heading nowhere under this self centered and confused regime.

ZAPU, as a people's party with clear cut policies to deliver the people of Zimbabwe from their man-made suffering, upholds policy viability, human rights, servant leadership, devolution of power and international cooperation and rule of law as prerequisites for  a prosperous Zimbabwe.

Whether Zimbabwe looks east, west or up to the mars or down in the oceans, she will not win as long as the policy environment is not addressed.

The country badly needs enticing policies to attract investors and not the Telecel childish tantrums we are witnessing today.

We also don't need a heavy handed government that arrests innocent vendors trying to eke a living.

Our case is simple, we need to enjoy the fruits of our motherland today and preserve it for the future.
