Zimbabwean representative in the Big Brother Africa Hotshots "JJ" Jerome Arab has survived the second week of evictions in the house.

The guitar player and actor was part of the nine housemates who had been nominated for eviction by other contestants last week.

This week, JJ nominated the Tanzanian saxophonist housemate Laveda and Ghana's Ma'm Bea for eviction.

ZBC Power FM DJ Butterphly had mother luck smiling on her again after her team won the extravaganza task for the second time making her immune to nomination.

She however nominated South Africa's Nhlanhla and Tanzania's Laveda for eviction.

This week, JJ got 4 nomination votes ahead of Laveda who has eleven nominations, followed by South Africa's Nhlanhla with 8 nominations and Permithias from Namibia with 7 votes.

JJ faces possible eviction this coming Sunday as he is third on the nomination list.

Last Sunday, three housemates - Lilian from Nigeria, Esther from Uganda and Sabina from Kenya were evicted, ending their dream of winning the grand prize.

The 9th edition of Big Brother Africa is now left with 21 housemates competing for the 300 thousand dollar prize money.
